Points of Interest: Mountain Brook Lodge and Cottages has 13 one and two bedroom rental cottages, with full kitchens, fireplaces, linens/towels/housekeeping, locally roasted coffee at the cottages, and guest privileges at the nearby Franklin Health and Fitness Center (right by the dog park!). We are conveniently located in the Great Smoky Mountains of western NC between the towns of Franklin, Sylva, Highlands, and Dillsboro, central to the spectacular amenities of the area - Western Carolina University, zip lines, waterfalls, craft breweries, two national parks and forests (Smoky Mountain and Nantahala), the Bryson City and the Nantahal Outdoor Center, the Appalachian Trail, Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts, Cherokee and the casino, and fine restaurants, shops, crafts, and music. Easy highway access - OPEN YEAR ROUND.
